Registration of easement rights
An easement is defined on a part of a real estate or a real estate in its entirety that will serve another natural or legal person for certain purposes. The purpose of expropriation is for the beneficiary of the expropriation to acquire the right to use the real estate for a specific purpose, for example for the purpose of an access road, the construction of a building or the execution of economic infrastructure works and other municipal infrastructure facilities.

The registration of the right of easement can be explained with two examples. In the first case, the holder of rights to real estate A, in order to reach his real estate from the public traffic area, must pass through real estate B, which is owned by another person. On the basis of the documentation, the access road easement is registered for the benefit of real estate A (privileged real estate), and to the detriment of real estate B (served real estate).
In another case, a public water supply company in a city plans to build a new water supply pipeline. The pipeline is also laid on the real estate of natural persons. In this case, it is necessary to establish an easement for the construction of the pipeline on these real estates by preparing a study of incomplete expropriation (easement).

FAQ
How much does a geodetic study cost?
The price is defined depending on the purpose, location, size of the plot, compliance with the cadastre and land registry, etc.
When planning to request the services of a surveyor, the basic information you need to prepare is the cadastral plot number and the name of the cadastral municipality or the address of the building (if there is a building on the plot). Based on the information about the plot and the purpose of the study, the surveyor will be able to tell you what purpose the study you need is for and what the price of the service will be.

Is my facility legal?
If a property is registered in the cadastre and land registry, this does not mean that it is legal.
